Preface

The word "robotics" once felt both distant and familiar to me. It wasn't until graduate school that I realized my passion for this field had never been absent—it was simply dormant at a deeper level, waiting for the right moment to awaken. To systematically understand this area, I began self-studying a series of robotics courses offered by foreign universities, gradually building my own knowledge system from basic theory to perception, control, and learning.
This guide is a roadmap I organized during my studies, with a certain personal touch. Since my background leans more toward mathematics and algorithms, the content of this guide may not be comprehensive, especially with less coverage of hardware and mechanical design. At the same time, this roadmap is still evolving—my self-study has only just begun, and the listed courses include both those I have completed and those I plan to study. If I find that some courses are of low quality, I will remove or replace them later.
This is not an authoritative study manual, but a genuine record of my learning. However, I hope it can provide some reference and inspiration for those who also love robotics and aspire to learn systematically.
May we all remain curious and passionate on the journey of exploring robotics.
